Open Access

Open Access

Open Access (OA) is the practice of providing unrestricted access via the Internet to peer-reviewed scholarly journal articles by anyone and from anywhere.

For more information on Open Access, please see 9-minute video explaining what open access is about.

All articles published by AIMS Press are Open Access under the Creative Commons Attribution License
( http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0). Under this license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content, and anyone can copy, distribute, or reuse these articles, as long as the author and original source are properly cited.

Benefits of Open Access

•  Maximize research impact.

•  No permission is required from the authors and publishers to cite the content.

•  All global researchers can access the content freely.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

To support this Open Access project and ensure that our OA journals are relevant and successful from the very start, AIMS Press shall waive the fees for well prepared papers in the first three years.

AIMS OA membership

A research group whose members publish 5 papers in AIMS OA journals in the first 3 years can become a member of AIMS OA journals. Researchers from this group will be granted a 20% discount on the APC fee in the future.

Any researcher who publishes 2 papers in AIMS OA journals in the first 3 years will become an individual member of AIMS OA journals and will receive a 20% discount on the APC fee in the future.
